Phoenix, AZ (January 21, 2026) |
Arizona Central Credit Union announced a new partnership with My First Nest Egg, a family-first financial wellness program designed to help children and parents build healthy money habits together. The collaboration expands Arizona Central’s commitment to serving families across the state by providing free, age-appropriate financial education tools that meet families where learning happens every day—at home, in classrooms, and in the community.
Rooted in the belief that strong financial habits start early, Arizona Central Credit Union is introducing a fully branded, co-hosted version of the My First Nest Egg platform for its members. Families will have access to engaging challenges, chore and allowance tools, real-world goal setting, and short, classroom-ready lessons that make money conversations approachable, practical, and consistent over time.
“We’re thrilled to introduce My First Nest Egg—a locally founded, interactive financial literacy program—exclusively for our AZCCU members,” said Brian Lee, President and CEO of Arizona Central Credit Union. “This program is designed to give our youngest members the tools and confidence to make smart, informed financial decisions that will last a lifetime. By teaching kids about money early and making those conversations a regular part of life, we’re helping build a stronger, more financially secure future for the next generation.”
Founded on the promise “Simple Solutions. Local Service. Trusted Since 1939,” Arizona Central Credit Union has proudly served Arizonans for more than eight decades. With nine branch locations across the state—including the Greater Phoenix Area, Flagstaff, Tucson, and Show Low—Arizona Central continues to invest in people-first solutions that strengthen families and communities.
Co-founded by two mothers and former attorneys, Nicolle Hood and Annie Shoen, My First Nest Egg was created to address the lack of engaging, age-appropriate ways to teach kids about money. The program transforms complex financial concepts into bite-sized activities through stories, puzzles, and psychology-backed tools designed for children ages 3–13.
“This partnership is especially meaningful to us,” said Nicolle Hood, Co-Founder & CEO of My First Nest Egg. “Brian Lee was the very first credit union leader to say ‘yes’ to My First Nest Egg—long before this work was widely recognized as essential. That early belief helped shape our program and our mission. Seeing this partnership come full circle at Arizona Central Credit Union, an institution with such deep roots and trust in the
community, is incredibly exciting. Together, we’re giving families simple, joyful ways to build confidence with money—and setting kids up for lifelong success.”
Through this partnership, Arizona Central Credit Union and My First Nest Egg are reinforcing a shared belief: that financial wellness isn’t a one-time lesson, but a habit built over time—with families, educators, and community partners working together.
