ArrowHeart Foundation – a community organization established by Arrowhead Credit Union – Executive recognized for community goodwill
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (December 20, 2023) — ArrowHeart Foundation Executive Director, Stefanie Villalobos, was awarded Citizen of the Year by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Community Services and Reentry Division.
“Stefanie is a champion for positive change in the communities we serve and we are so proud to have her as a support line when help is needed,” said Captain James Porter of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Community Service and Reentry Division (CSRD). Porter added, “Whether it’s 100 kits in need for a next day event or warm clothes for a homeless individual, Stefanie always comes through for CSRD.”
ArrowHeart Foundation was established by Arrowhead Credit Union in 2013 as a 501(c)(3) foundation for the purpose of giving back to communities the Credit Union serves. The Foundation partners with other 501(c)(3) organizations as well as gives directly to the community through volunteerism, food and clothing donations, distributing life essential bags to the unhoused, and academic scholarship awards. In total, the Foundation hosts more than 100 events annually and fills countless donation requests from community partners.

CSRD provides rehabilitation, education, support, and advocacy services for the County’s vulnerable and hard to serve populations.
According to Porter, “We talk about one life at a time and positive change in the community. We live it. ArrowHeart lives it. And, we are honored to recognize Stefanie for her service to the community.”
