Austin Telco Federal Credit Union announces retirement of Chief Executive Officer, James Poplin

AUSTIN, TEXAS (April 28, 2022) — Austin Telco Federal Credit Union’s President and Chief Executive Officer, James Poplin, has announced his retirement. Austin Telco Federal Credit Union has hired D. Hilton Associates to begin a nationwide search to find his replacement.

“We would like to thank James for his time, energy, and commitment to the credit union over the years,” said Board Chairperson Steve Read. “James has been an asset to this credit union, and we will be sad to see him leave, but are looking forward to the future.”

James has been with Austin Telco FCU for almost 40 years and is excited to move into his next adventure of retirement.
