BAI announces new experiences at BAI Beacon 2018

Featuring Diebold Nixdorf’s BRET, Fintech Forge

CHICAGO, IL (October 4, 2018) — BAI announced two new experiences for attendees at BAI Beacon, its annual financial services conference. The unique financial services conference, designed to teach leaders how to tackle key challenges facing their organizations and learn new ways to leverage innovative ideas and solutions takes place in Orlando, Fla., Oct. 9 – 11.

Diebold Nixdorf’s (NYSE: DBD) Big Rig Experience Truck (BRET) will be featured in the BAI Beacon campus as part of the company’s 2018 DN Connections Tour. BRET is a mobile technology experience featuring Diebold Nixdorf’s latest technology, concepts and innovations focused on connected commerce for financial and retail industries. Their comprehensive software suite, DN Vynamic™, drives the BRET technology, showcasing its innovative self-service transaction capabilities. BAI Beacon attendees will have a firsthand look at how Diebold Nixdorf is using the technology to create digital consumer experiences through self-service, software and services.

Also new to the conference is BAI’s collaboration with Fintech Forge. Fintech Forge helps financial institutions create and leverage their innovation capacity, internally and through fintech partnerships and strategic investments. JP Nicols and Jason Henrichs, managing directors at Fintech Forge, will lead an exclusive, invitation only pre-conference session, “C-Summit for Community Bank Executives.” Nicols and Henrichs will engage attendees by uncovering challenges, opportunities and priorities for community banking organizations and giving leaders a better understanding of modern agile business methods to address these opportunities.

Plug and Play Tech Center, a global innovation platform is returning to BAI Beacon to showcase a diverse array of technology companies to watch to help financial services leaders vet potential partnerships, a popular feature of BAI Beacon last year.

“Through our collaboration with these unique companies, BAI Beacon attendees have the opportunity to learn from some of the most innovative leaders in the industry and gain valuable insights that can be leveraged in their organization,” said Holly Hughes, chief marketing officer of BAI.
