Beach Municipal Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce that Will Greer and Jaclyn Guevara are the recipients of this year’s Beach Municipal Federal Credit Union Education Scholarships. Will, an upcoming graduate of Ocean Lakes High School’s Math and Science Academy, will be continuing his education at Georgetown University. He plans to pursue a degree in International Relations and eventually become a US State Department Foreign Service Officer. Jaclyn, who is graduating from Kellam High School, will be attending Virginia Tech where she will major in Human Development.
Both students were also selected as 2018 Jack E. O’Connor Memorial Scholarship recipients through the Tidewater Chapter of the Virginia Credit Union League.
Will and Jaclyn were each awarded a $2,500 scholarship based on their exceptional academics, original essays and extensive involvement in both school and the community.
