Belvoir Federal launches a Virtual StrongBox for members

WOODBRIDGE, VA (November 1, 2013) — On November 1, 2013, Belvoir Federal Credit Union launched “My Virtual StrongBox”^TM powered by DigitalMailer to provide members the ability to store electronic copies of their most important documents online through Belvoir Federal’s Online Banking platform.

The Virtual StrongBox is backed by a multi-factor security and redundant services with 24-hour monitoring. The digital safety deposit box securely stores documents, has certified data centers to protect vital information, and encrypts data which is continually backed up.

The Virtual StrongBox allows members to plan for the unknown by being able to keep their essential documentation for major events, such as births, marriage, first mortgages, cars, medical records, and wills, all in one central, secure location. In the electronic age, it is imperative to have access to vital information at your fingertips from anywhere, especially for today’s tech-savvy consumer.
