Hundreds of credit union leaders will visit with and hear from prominent policymakers September 11-14, 2018 in Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON, DC (July 27, 2018) — The National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions (NAFCU) will host their annual Congressional Caucus with hundreds of credit union leaders, numerous prominent policymakers and over 200 meetings on Capitol Hill Sept. 11-14. As NAFCU’s premier advocacy event, topics of discussion will include the future of credit unions, regulatory and legislative proposals, the Trump Administration, the Congressional midterm elections, and how American politics will move forward.

“NAFCU’s Congressional Caucus will allow attendees to engage with numerous prominent Washington policymakers and showcase the benefits credit unions provide to their 114 million members and local communities,” said NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger. “With many pressing issues facing the financial services industry – from lurking data security threats to reforming our housing finance system to costly and burdensome regulations – NAFCU’s Congressional Caucus serves as an important forum for reform.”

Throughout NAFCU’s Congressional Caucus hundreds of credit union leaders will meet with prominent Administration officials and policymakers as well as hear from these Washington leaders during our general sessions.
