Bonnie Randall-Hanson named Affinity Plus Director of Human Resources

ST PAUL, MN (November 26, 2018) — Bonnie Randall-Hanson has been named the new director of Human Resources at Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union.

Randall-Hanson joined the credit union in early November with 18 years of human resources experience, most recently in leadership at Allina Health, an organization of more than 30,000 employees.

Prior to that, Randall-Hanson spent 15 years at Wells Fargo leading nearly every aspect of HR at different points. That included leading HR project teams; compensation; HR compliance; employee relations; leave management; and more.

“Bonnie has a genuine, authentic approach to conversations and a drive for human connection in the workplace,” said Julie Cosgrove, Affinity Plus senior vice president of Human Resources. “She has a tenacity to plan strategically and also a passion to roll up her sleeves to get in the middle of it all. That aligns well with the culture, values and leadership style at Affinity Plus.”

“I’m delighted to have joined Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union,” Randall-Hanson said. “I’m looking forward to being part of an outstanding organization that makes a real difference in the lives of its members, its employees and the community, and helping to lead human resources strategy and implementation that will sustain and enhance its success.”

In the role, Randall-Hanson will lead the Human Resources team, including attraction and retention of talent; performance management; employee relations; compensation; and benefits.

She’s currently spending time visiting branch communities around Minnesota and working with the HR team to prioritize the credit union’s 2019 HR roadmap.

Randall-Hanson has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Economics from South Dakota State University, and a master’s degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.
