Canvas Credit Union grows leaders

DENVER, CO (March 9, 2022) — Canvas Credit Union, the third-largest credit union in Colorado, announced the promotion of Tansley Stearns from chief people & strategy offer to the chief operating officer. Stearns joined Canvas in March 2018.

As COO, Stearns oversees all strategy, people, marketing, retail engagement, and operations matters for Canvas in serving our more than 700 Canvas Family members and nearly 284,000 members. She fosters a people-first culture among Canvas Family members by identifying top-tier talent and prioritizing employee engagement.

Stearns’ growth is just one example of how Canvas amplifies its team’s success. In 2021, the organization had 166 internal promotions. Canvas has been named a Great Place to Work three years running.
