Capital Credit Union today announced the hiring of Tom Ternes as business services vice president at their Main Office in Bismarck. Ternes has 10 years of professional experience in the financial services industry.
As business services vice president, Ternes will be responsible for delivering business products and services to existing and prospective credit union members. He’ll also look for opportunities to provide additional products and services to business members.
“As we continue to grow our business lending portfolio, we are excited to welcome Tom to our team,” says Bismarck-Mandan Market President Brad Shetler. “He will be an integral part of helping our credit union’s business services grow.”
Ternes joins the Capital Credit Union team from Bank of North Dakota where he had worked since 2012. He graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2008 with bachelor’s degrees in elementary education and mathematics. Ternes also earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Mary in 2012. In addition, he graduated from the North Dakota Bankers Association's Dakota School of Banking in 2016.
Ternes and his wife, Chelsea, live in Bismarck with their three children.
