Carolina Trust appoints Vice President Controller
MYRTLE BEACH, SC (May 26, 2022) — Carolina Trust is pleased to welcome AJ Fischer to the position of Vice President Controller.
Fischer comes to Carolina Trust from Monroe County Community College in Monroe, Michigan, where he held the position of Director of Financial Services. He is a graduate of The University of Findlay with a master’s degree in Business Administration.
He and his wife, Brittany Fischer, will be celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary this fall, and together the pair have three children: Madelyn (6), Raegan (4), and Caleb (2).
For four years, he served as a Board Member for the Michigan Community College Business Officers Association, consisting of all 28 public community colleges in Michigan. In his final year, he served as Board President. He also served on the Monroe High School Business Administration Management and Operations Advisory Board for five years.
