Centra team member honored with JACSY Award for community service excellence

Centra Credit Union is proud to announce that  Centra Branch Development Manager Sehrish Sangamkar has been awarded the  prestigious JACSY award by the Jackson County United Way of Indiana. This honor is given  to individuals who demonstrate exceptional dedication to serving the Jackson County  community through volunteerism, leadership and a spirit of generosity. Fellow Centra Team  Member and Jackson County United Way Board Member Katie Hall presented Sangamkar with the award. 

“I think I can speak for all of us at Centra that we’re incredibly proud of Sehrish and the  impact she continues to make in the Jackson County community,” Hall said. “This award  reflects not only her personal dedication but also the culture of service we strive to foster  across our organization!” 

The JACSY Award is a testament to Sangamkar’s unwavering commitment to giving back  and creating meaningful value both inside and outside the workplace. Whether through  organizing local initiatives, mentoring youth or supporting various nonprofit efforts, she exemplifies the values of compassion and civic responsibility.
