Central Credit Union of Florida reinvents youth accounts program after partnership with Zogo Finance

PENSACOLA, FL (June 14, 2021) — During the month of June 2021, Central Credit Union of Florida is promoting their recently enhanced Youth Accounts Program to raise awareness for financial literacy and the importance of planning for the future. Recent updates to their “Wee Belong” Savings, Future Leader Savings and Future Leaders Checking Accounts feature additional resources for protecting children against identity fraud and age-appropriate educational platforms that encourage young people to learn about money management.

“Central Credit Union of Florida will be making further enhancements to the Youth Accounts Program because we want to include more resources for learning, more rewards for being engaged with their finances and more helpful services like our ‘Cents to Savings’ program,” states Todd Cunningham of Central Credit Union of Florida. “For teens especially, the Future Leaders Checking Account is ideal. It provides positive reinforcement for making deposits and
allows these young adults to gain real life experience with managing money, while also having the safety of overdraft protection.”

These upcoming enhancements to the Youth Accounts Program at Central Credit Union of Florida, are the next phase of enhancing member services to provide more opportunities for financial literacy, a movement the credit union continues to foster after partnering with Zogo Finance and launching the Zogo financial literacy app earlier this year. The app is free to everyone and includes nearly 300 modules for 20 different topics, from opening a bank account to saving for retirement – and everything in between, and provides users with redeemable rewards for completing participation in each lesson.
