When it comes to providing joy, hope, and smiles, there’s nothing that can stop Chartway’s We Promise Foundation from delivering on its promise to kid heroes in its communities. Thanks to a charitable grant from Chartway’s We Promise Foundation to Make-A-Wish Greater Virginia, the two organizations were able to make a holiday wish come true for Saani, a nine-year-old girl who battles a critical illness.
Together, they surprised Saani with a festive visit to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront – complete with the one thing she wanted most of all: an in-room hot tub, which would allow for a private and safe experience given a compromised immune system. Chartway’s We Promise Foundation also presented Saani with a special gift basket, featuring everything she needed to enjoy a holiday weekend at the beach. When she saw it, she jumped up and down with excitement!
“Chartway’s We Promise Foundation is honored to provide the financial support needed to grant wishes for children like Saani facing medical hardship,” said Karen Lane, executive director. “Bringing joy, hope, and smiles to courageous children is what we’re all about and we’re thrilled to have helped make this holiday season magical for Saani and her family.”
