City & County Credit Union gets cold & frigid at Snow Park at the Fair

ST. PAUL, MN (February 20, 2018) — City & County Credit Union embraced the cold, Minnesota winter by sponsoring and volunteering at Snow Park at the Fair. Organized by the Saint Paul Vulcans, the Snow Park is a free, family event that features a giant snow slide, snow sculpting competitions, and a snow maze.

During opening weekend, City & County team members braved the cold and volunteered at the Snow Park to help run the Snow Slide. Volunteers collected tickets, set up sleds on the slide and helped collect sleds from slide riders.

In addition, a team of City & County employees took the plunge during the first ever night Polar Plunge at the Snow Park on February 3rd. The night plunge featured black lights and plungers from the Vulcans, Woodbury Royalty and City & County Credit Union. 62 people took the plunge and raised $7,575 for Special Olympics MN.

Snow Park at the Fair took place at the Minnesota State Fair Grounds and ran from January 26 – February 11.
