CO-OP Financial Services Partners With TMG To Provide Reloadable Prepaid Card Program

TMG Product to be Offered to CO-OP Client Credit Unions

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (February 28, 2013) – In a further extension of its partnership with The Members Group (TMG) announced last year, CO-OP Financial Services will be offering TMG’s reloadable prepaid cards to its client credit unions.

“The goal of our partnership with TMG is to offer the best products for each client’s unique needs,” said Stan Hollen, President/CEO, CO-OP Financial Services. “The TMG program is a very attractive way for our clients to provide their members and non-members with a versatile reloadable prepaid card.”

“A full-service, team-approach to client support is at the heart of this initiative,” said Shazia Manus, CEO of TMG. “CO-OP can now introduce credit unions to a robust, well-established reloadable prepaid program that is handled by our TMG retail payments product team.”

As leaders in innovation, CO-OP and TMG work together to provide card processing programs and other payment solutions to the credit union industry. The TMG reloadable prepaid cards are in addition to the load-once prepaid gift cards CO-OP already makes available.

Credit unions that adopt the TMG product will sign contracts directly with TMG, who will be responsible for the sale, implementation, support and invoicing.

The TMG reloadable prepaid cards allow credit unions to offer their members a convenient means of general purpose purchasing, or as a way to budget for travel, or limit spending by children. The cards also enable credit unions to reach underserved members who are unable or unwilling to qualify for traditional credit or debit cards. The TMG cards are Visa branded and can be used at ATM and point of sale (PIN and signature) locations. A deposit account is not required.
