Comedy night fundraiser to support financial education to high school students

MERIDEN, CT (March 04, 2015) — Connecticut’s credit unions are holding a night of comedic entertainment entitled, “Just Kidding Around” on Friday, March 27. Tickets for the event are $25 and can be purchased at cucomedy.eventbrite.com. Ticket sales and silent auction proceeds from the event will support Connecticut Financial Reality Fairs, which provide financial education to high school students throughout the state.
Just Kidding Around will showcase the comedic styles of Jim McCue, Steve Arenholz, Jonny Benson, and Angel Rentas at Revolutions in South Windsor. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the comedy will begin at 8:00 p.m.

Nearly 17,000 Connecticut students have gone through a Financial Reality Fair since 2008.
