Community Resource’s CEO celebrates for two special reasons

LATHAM, NY (October 17, 2013) — Community Resource Federal Credit Union’s CEO, Betsy Kindlon, celebrates her 25th service anniversary on Thursday, October 17, 2013, which is also a special day for credit unions around the world.  Every year, the third Thursday of October is designated as International Credit Union Day. On this day, credit unions reflect on the movement’s history and celebrate the positive impact they have on the lives of their members.  Betsy also reflected on her long career working for Community Resource Federal Credit Union.

“I’m fortunate to have such a wonderful group of people to work with and that care about our Credit Union.  Your dedication and support has helped make these past 25 years possible for me and has brought the Credit Union to where it is today,” said Betsy Kindlon, CEO.

In honor of the two events, Community Resource’s employees bought a cake for Betsy and the Credit Union purchased refreshments for members to enjoy.

Community Resource Federal Credit Union is a community credit union serving those who live, work, worship, or attend school in Albany County and their families.  Community Resource provides friendly service, outstanding rates, and low fees on a full range of financial products.  Community Resource has $70 million in assets and 6,300 members.
