CommunityAmerica Marketing Exec named a “40 Under Forty” Honoree by Ingram’s Magazine

Rob Persaud Joins 40 Kansas Citians Recognized.

LENEXA, KA (May 18, 2015) — Kansas City business publication, Ingram’s Magazine, recently named CommunityAmerica Credit Union Senior Vice President of Marketing, Rob Persaud, as a “40 Under Forty” honoree.

“It is a complete honor to even be nominated, let alone to be selected, alongside such an inspiring group of Kansas City leaders,” said Persaud. “This experience will help me learn from others in our community about what works best for their businesses. My goal is to take that knowledge and put it to work for our members.”

The program was created in 1998 to celebrate the region’s most accomplished business professionals under age 40. To be considered for this distinction, candidates must be nominated and fulfill a series of requirements related to business and community accomplishments. Since the program’s inception, 640 people have been named to the member-alumni group.

Persaud’s name has recently been in business headlines for his efforts on noteworthy projects at CommunityAmerica. In 2014 he was featured in Credit Union Times for his team’s success promoting its Profit Payout dividend, as well as the Kansas City Business Journal for account growth based on its four percent High Interest Savings product.

Most recently, he was quoted in the Kansas City Star as a vocal advocate for prize-linked savings accounts in Kansas and Missouri. In addition to media coverage, under Persaud’s leadership the marketing team’s work is annually recognized by industry organizations such as the Public Relations Society of America, the Kansas City Direct Marketing Association and the Missouri Credit Union Association.
