Coppell High School’s KCBY and YOUR Community Credit Union – A Great Collaboration!

IRVING, TX (June 12, 2013) YOUR Community Credit Union (YCCU) and Coppell High School’s KCBY (in-school broadcast program) have joined forces to provide a series of commercials for YOUR Community Credit Union.

Students working with KCBY must be selected for the program and are required to take Journalism and Analysis of Visual Media as well as go through an application process.

“YCCU wanted to have a series of commercials produced for our website’s homepage, YouTube, and Facebook page.”  Mark O’Bryan, YCCU president and CEO adds, “We thought the best place to start when trying to reach a younger demographic was with a young demographic.  We couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome of the commercials and want to thank everyone that worked on the project.”

To date, KCBY, under the direction of Irma Kennedy, has produced two commercials for YOUR Community Credit Union.  One commercial explains the benefit of banking and having an account with YCCU and the other shows just how easy it is to make a mobile deposit with YCCU’s new Mobile Banking app.

Both commercials are available on YouTube (search YCCU), YOUR Community Credit union’s Facebook page (Facebook.com/YCCU1) and at www.yccu.com.

YCCU works alongside, and supports, a number of community and school organizations.  The credit union is excited to begin production on more commercials when the new school year begins.
