AUBURN HILLS, MI (June 20, 2022) — Cornerstone Community Financial (CCF) – a leading community-focused credit union with multiple locations in Michigan and Ohio, 23,000 members and approximately $380 million in total assets under management – has announced the grand opening of its newest branch in Toledo, Ohio. The announcement was made by Heidi Kassab, CCF president and CEO.
The new, 5,000-square-foot branch, located at 4400 Heatherdowns Blvd., Suite 1 in Toledo, is CCF’s seventh branch overall, and second in NW Ohio, joining CCF’s Perrysburg location (28543 Oregon Rd.). Under the management of Ohio native, Robert Molnar, a 25-year financial industry veteran, the new branch, which is open to members and customers now, employs eight full-time team members and offers room for growth.
The new branch opening follows CCF’s November 2021 announcement of its field of membership expansion, granted approval by the State of Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services. In Michigan, CCF is open for membership to any and every resident of the state, regardless of where they live or work. In Ohio, CCF’s field-of-membership now includes six northwestern counties, including: Fulton, Henry, Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky and Wood.

The new full-service credit union location offers in-branch, drive-thru and online services, including checking/savings accounts, credit cards, mortgage and auto lending, CDs, business banking, personal loans, youth accounts and more. The lobby is open Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (drive-thru until 6 p.m. on Fridays) and Saturdays 9 a.m. to noon.
To celebrate the new branch location and CCF’s expansion in NW Ohio, there will be an official grand opening celebration on June 25, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Grand Opening festivities will include:
