Costa Rican Intern Celebrates First Day at Innovations FCU

PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL (April 12, 2013) – Innovations FCU is excited to host an emerging credit union leader, Cristina Zuniga, from Coopeorotina R.L. located outside San Jose, Costa Rica.  Ms. Zuniga is participating in the World Council of Credit Unions’ International Credit Union Leadership Program which is part of the U.S. Department of State’s Professional Fellows Program.  Both programs are designed to facilitate idea exchanges, promote foreign language skill development, enhance cultural diversity, and improve problem solving skills as they relate to credit union development and management.

Ms. Zuniga will spend four weeks interning with Innovations.  During her internship, Ms. Zuniga is interested in learning new methods of leadership training, discovering new products and services, and exploring advances in information technology.  “We are thrilled with the opportunity to host Cristina and we are looking forward to sharing the Innovations experience”says David Southall, President/CEO, Innovations FCU.
