Credit Union Student Choice will host free webinar on the FAFSA
In its continued efforts to educate students and families on the most affordable and responsible ways to pay for college, Credit Union Student Choice will host a free public webinar on October 11, 2018. The webinar, “Free Money for College – FAFSA and the CSS Profile,” will be offered at 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. ET.
This webinar will provide information about the FAFSA, one of the most important parts of the college financial aid process, as well as the CSS Profile, an online application that collects information used by nearly 400 colleges and scholarship programs to award non-federal aid. Led by Student Choice College Access Counselor Patricia Poplicean, the webinar will help attendees navigate:
- What is the FAFSA and CSS Profile?
- Completing the FAFSA and CSS Profile
- What to expect after applications are submitted
- Federal updates

This presentation is part of a series of quarterly national webinars hosted by Poplicean; to date, more than 1,000 attendees have benefited from content on preparing for college, completing the FAFSA, student loan repayment, and award letters.
