CU*Answers introduces PEAK health & wellness program
GRAND RAPIDS, MI (June 12, 2018) — The Organizational Resource Development (ORD) team at CU*Answers has announced a new health and wellness program to encourage a healthy lifestyle for its employees. The PEAK program, which stands for Participation – Exercise – Activities – Knowledge, will offer a series of classes, fun activities and local YMCA discounts to help staff increase their overall physical and mental health.
Activities include a 30-day water challenge, 10k-step-a-day challenge, and multiple classes on subjects like eating smart on the go and starting an exercise program. The program will also make smoking cessation coaching and an internal website dedicated to employee health available.
“Our goal is a healthier, happier workplace,” said Amber Overla, VP of the ORD team. “We want to offer as many classes, activities and events as possible, so that everyone will find at least one way to improve their overall well-being.”
