CUES 2014 CEO Institute at Capacity; Earliest Sell Out in Program’s History
MADISON, WI (August 1, 2013) — One-hundred and ninety-two credit union professionals are enrolled in next year’s CEO Institute, selling out the program and bringing it to capacity in record time.
“CEO Institute is seen by many as the pinnacle of a credit union leader’s professional education. I’m really excited that so many credit unions recognize the importance this program brings the industry,” said Chuck Fagan, CUES’ president/CEO. “And, this accomplishment makes CUES history. This is the earliest CEO Institute has sold out, following closely on the heels of the 2013 CEO Institutes selling out in record time, and with the largest enrollment in the program’s history.
“I’m excited to say that we’re currently developing additional executive education offerings for the CEO and C-suite level, in large part due to the success and great demand for CEO Institute,” said Fagan.
CEO Institute is the Credit Union Executives Society’s flagship program. Since 1995, 863 credit union executives have completed the three program segments.
CEO Institute is a challenging academic and leadership program tailored specifically for credit union executives. It is held at three of the nation’s most respected business schools:
– CEO Institute I: Strategic Planning, The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia
– CEO Institute II: Organizational Effectiveness, Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y.
– CEO Institute III: Strategic Leadership Development, Darden School of Business, University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Va.
Executives who complete all three years of the CEO Institute program and two post-segment projects earn their Certified Chief Executive (CCE) designation. This highly respected title reflects the qualities of leadership strengthened throughout the three segments, and is considered a valuable asset in succession planning and recruitment practices.
