CUNA announces dates for 3rd annual CUNA Governance, Risk Management & Compliance Leadership Conference

WASHINGTON, DC (April 19, 2019) — Dates are announced for the 3rdannual CUNA Governance, Risk Management & Compliance Leadership Conference in alliance with Rochdale Paragon Group. The conference will take place September 23-25, 2019 in Nashville.

“ERM is changing and becoming broader. It is evolving into GRC,” said past attendee Brian Schmitt, chief financial officer at American Heritage FCU. “Attending this conference shows where the credit union industry is trending, and how GRC can keep you ahead of those trends.”

“The team at Rochdale Paragon Group has a demonstrated expertise in all three pillars of GRC that attendees will deeply benefit from,” said Todd Spiczenski, chief products and services officer at CUNA. “Credit union professionals will leave this event with the tools they need to get integrated, get unified and get results.”

During in-depth sessions, attendees will master the core ideas of GRC, learn each department’s role in it and gain a roadmap for implementing it at their credit unions.

The program is best-suited for executives, board members, auditors, supervisory committee members and risk and compliance professionals.

Attendees are also eligible to recertify their Credit Union Enterprise Risk Management Expert (CUERME) designation onsite. To learn more, visit cuna.org/grc.
