CUNA Lending Council and Technology Council Joint White Paper Discusses Lending Technologies

MADISON, WI (July 18, 2013) A new white paper co-published by the CUNA Lending Council and Technology Council “Partners in Progress:  How Lending and IT Work Together to Improve Efficiency and the Member Experience,” discusses the implementation of lending technology meant to optimize the member experience and operational efficiency. Lending and IT staff must work together, along with colleagues from other departments, to identify solutions that cost-effectively deliver on members’ expectations for easy, convenient access to credit.

This white paper presents examples of recent steps forward in lending operations powered by technology, including mobile lending, more secure credit cards, and paperless mortgage and consumer lending, and explores how lending and IT professionals collaborate to develop in-house solutions and how they select third-party software best suited for their unique operations.

CUNA Council members are eligible to receive complimentary copies of this, and over 300 other white papers; non-Council members may purchase white papers for $50 per copy.

The paper is available online in the white paper section of www.cunacouncils.org.

Press may contact Natalie Sherry at nsherry@cuna.coop for a copy of the white paper.
