CUNA Technology Council releases first video white paper documenting 4 credit unions’ disaster recovery stories

MADISON, WI (September 16, 2013) — The CUNA Technology Council announces a new educational resource, a video white paper titled, “Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Are You Prepared?” documenting four credit unions’ stories of survival following the aftermath of major natural disasters.

Keesler FCU (Biloxi, MS), Nassau Financial FCU (Westbury, NY), McGraw-Hill FCU (East Windsor, NJ), and Tinker FCU (Oklahoma City, OK), graciously shared their unique stories with us for this video white paper. Each credit union describes the impact the storms had on their financial institution, staff, and members — and how their disaster recovery/business continuity plans helped return them to operations to aid members in desperate need of financial assistance.

Not only is this a new educational resource, but this is the first video white paper produced by the CUNA Technology Council.

CUNA Council members are eligible to view this video white paper, and have access to 300+ other white papers.

The paper is available online in the white paper section of www.cunacouncils.org.

Press may contact Natalie Sherry at nsherry@cuna.coop for more information and a link to view the video white paper.
