CUTX offers free anti-body testing to its employees

With the impact of COVID-19 affecting so many individuals, Credit Union of Texas (CUTX) has partnered with Kai Medical Laboratories in Dallas to offer free COVID anti-body testing for all its employees starting on July 22 and running through July 24 at its corporate headquarters. The credit union is encouraging all employees to take advantage of this testing. All results will be held in confidence.

COVID-19 antibody testing, also known as serology testing, is a finger stick blood test that's done to find out if an individual had a past infection with SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Antibodies are proteins produced by your immune system in response to an infection.

CUTX CEO Eric Pointer said, “Credit Union of Texas is dedicated to keeping our staff as well as our mem-bers safe during this unprecedented time. As cases not only in Texas but also across the United States con-tinue to rise, we want to ensure we can help our employees remain healthy. CUTX will do whatever it takes to ensure we have a safe environment for employees and members.”
