Dover’s young professional wins slogan contest

DOVER, DE (February 6, 2018) — Dover Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce that team member Nikkia Sykes has won the winning slogan for 2018 CU Accelerate Slogan contest.

The Cooperative Credit Union Association (CCUA) recently held a slogan contest for credit union Young Professionals to submit a catchy slogan for CU Accelerate 2018. Sixteen entries were received from seven YP’s. CCUA President/CEO Paul Gentile selected the final winner, and winning slogan “Education for Excellence”, announcing this winning entry was submitted by Young Professional Nikkia Sykes from Dover Federal Credit Union. Her winning slogan will be displayed on all CU Accelerate 2018 marketing materials. CU Accelerate, the spring flagship conference of the Cooperative Credit Union Association is focused on consumer engagement and enlightened by experts from beyond the credit union industry.

The Cooperative Credit Union Association represents the credit unions in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Delaware. The Association is, first and foremost, an advocate for its member credit unions. The most important role it plays is to represent the interests of credit unions before Congress and state legislatures, regulatory bodies and the public. In addition, the Association provides excellent learning opportunities for credit union volunteers and professionals.
