DuPage Credit Union to Participate in CU Kind Day

NAPERVILLE, IL (October 9, 2019) — On Monday, October 14th DuPage Credit Union will participate in CU Kind Day, a statewide initiative to spread kindness. Credit Union team members are dedicating their day to surprising local first responders and showering them with baskets of goodies and kindness for all they do.

“We are so grateful for everything our first responders do to help keep our communities safe,” said Vice President of Business Solutions Amy Brandt, “So often, their daily bravery and sacrifice is underappreciated until tragedy occurs.”

“Our team is excited to personally thank them and let them know they are appreciated each and every day of the year for all that they do.”

CU Kind Day is a new initiative led by the Illinois Credit Union League (ICUL), the primary trade association for credit unions, created to spread kindness and generate awareness for the good work credit unions do in their communities. On Columbus Day, ICUL has encouraged credit unions in Illinois to customize an outreach effort that best fits their credit union and the community they serve. The effect will be felt statewide, as Illinois credit unions come together in the spirit of cooperation to give back.
