DuPage Credit Union would like to thank everyone who generously donated to its June 17 Drive, Drop, & Donate event. During the ninth-annual shred and electronic recycling event, the Credit Union raised $3,568 which will be used to purchase backpacks and school supply kits for DuPage County students in need.
“The DuPage Credit Union team would like to sincerely extend a big thank you to all who participated,” said Amy Brandt, Senior Vice President of Digital, Payment and Learning Transformation at DuPage Credit Union. “It means a lot to us to be able to give back to the community and support local families.”
Backpacks stuffed with essential school supplies will be handed out to pre-registered families (students) attending the Catholic Charities Annual Back-to-School Fair on August 10 at the DuPage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton, which benefits DuPage County students in need through the DuPage Regional Office of Education.
Since the We’ve Got Your Back fundraiser’s inception in 2014, the Credit Union has raised over $115,000 to help local students in need and will continue to take donations through July 31. Donations can be made at dupagecu.com/backpacks.
Thank you to our Drive, Drop, & Donate sponsor, Gerald Subaru of Naperville for their generous support.
