DuPage Credit Union’s raises over $12,000 to purchase school supplies for local students in need through its “We’ve Got Your Back” fundraising campaign

NAPERVILLE, IL (September 5, 2018) — DuPage Credit Union would like to thank the community, our Members and 2018 We’ve Got Your Back campaign business sponsors for helping us raise over $12,000 to purchase 1,000 school supply kits to fill backpacks for DuPage County students in need.

Backpacks were handed out by DuPage Credit Union Team Members during the Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet’s 28th Annual Back-to-School Fair at St. Francis High School in Wheaton. The event benefits students served by the DuPage Regional Office of Education.

“Each year we are continually humbled by the overwhelming generosity of our Members and the community,” said Amy Brandt, Vice President of Business Solutions. “Your willingness to help those in need is an inspiration to our Team.”

This year’s We’ve Got Your Back sponsors included: The Rusin Fulco Realty Group, Konsultek, Freese & Associates, Inc., Americaneagle.com, VISOgraphic, Gerald Hyundai North Aurora, Fiserv, Adrenaline, Connection, Credit Link, LLC and IMM.

Since its foundation, five years ago, DuPage Credit Union’s We’ve Got Your Back Backpack Fundraiser has raised over $62,000 and helped thousands of students in DuPage County begin the school year with the school supplies needed to succeed in the classroom.
