Ed Neunherz honoring former Global Board Member and Vice-President of Communications & Governmental Affairs

SPOKANE, WA (February 5, 2015) — Former Global Credit Union Board Member and Vice-President, Ed Neunherz, died at his home in Spokane on Tuesday, January 27, 2015. He was 70 years old.  Ed was a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, former Lilac Festival Executive Director and involved with numerous community and military organizations.
Ed served on Global’s Board of Directors from 1975 to 1979 and then again from 1994 until 1997. He continued on at Global as the Vice-President of Communications and Governmental Affairs from 1997 to 2009.  Through his management, he led Global in strengthening our commitment to community involvement.
Ed’s memorial service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home, 508 N. Government Way, Spokane, WA, on Friday, February 6th at 1:00 PM. Reception to follow at Heritage.
We will remember Ed with gratitude for his commitment to his family, service to our country, military, community and Global.   Besides being a true friend, he had the ability to make the room a funnier, livelier and happier place.
