ELGA Credit Union cuts the ribbon on new headquarters

FENTON, MI (April 18, 2022) — ELGA Credit Union (ELGA CU) announces the grand opening and ribbon cutting of its new headquarters (HQ) building on Friday, April 22nd at noon. The new HQ is located at 6065 Grand Pointe Blvd in Grand Blanc, Mich.

“This new space will promote the culture of togetherness and making bold moves to improve the lives of our members and associates that ELGA CU has always stood for. Our credit union is growing and evolving, and we have a new home that will grow and evolve with us.” stated Terry Katzur, ELGA CU President & CEO

The HQ building is a 64,500 square foot space in which every design detail was thought through for the comfort and safety of staff and visitors. Every ELGA CU associate has views of the exterior of the building. Floor-to-ceiling glass throughout the building on the exterior walls, interior offices and meeting spaces create natural lighting. The lobby of the building welcomes guests with a “living wall” and a feature wall that will include names of donors that have supported the ELGA Credit Union Foundation for Impact’s Endowment Campaign. The lower level terrace overlooks a detention pond that will have natural and Michigan – native plants providing a home for amazing flora and wildlife.

While many associates have moved to the HQ building, ELGA CU’s presence at their Burton Administration building is still strong. They will continue to be an active member of both the Burton and Grand Blanc communities.
