Ellafi Federal Credit Union is proud to announce the launch of Ellafi Kind, a new charitable arm created to support local nonprofits and initiatives that make a positive impact in our communities. Beginning in early October 2025, Ellafi Kind will further Ellafi FCU’s mission to promote financial equity, entrepreneurship, and economic stability for women—especially those in underserved communities.
“Community collaboration is at the heart of Ellafi Kind,” says Robyn Swanson, Co-Acting CEO and Chair of the Ellafi Kind Board of Directors. “By partnering with trusted organizations, we ensure our programs are impactful, culturally relevant, and tailored to real needs.”
Ellafi Kind will focus on programs that address the unique financial challenges women face, offering financial literacy education, business mentorship, emergency aid, and community partnerships that foster resilience, independence, and long-term financial health.
Last month, Ellafi Kind hosted the Ellafi Kind Giveaway, inviting members to nominate local nonprofits doing impactful work for women and families. Winners will be announced weekly throughout October, highlighting grassroots organizations that embody kindness, resilience, and community spirit. This initiative reflects Ellafi’s belief that small acts of support can lead to meaningful, lasting change.
