Empower Federal Credit Union awarded as one of Forbes’ Best-In-State Banks and Credit Unions
SYRACUSE, NY (September 17, 2020) — Empower Federal Credit Union has been recognized as part of Forbes’ annual list of America’s Best-In-State Banks and Credit Unions 2020. This prestigious award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. The awards list was announced on June 25, 2020 and can currently be viewed on the Forbes website.
Forbes Best-In-State Banks and Credit Unions 2020 is comprised of the top banks and credit unions based on the results of independent surveys involving approximately 25,000 U.S. consumers who were asked to rate the financial institutions at which they have or have had checking accounts.
Participants made recommendations regarding overall satisfaction; they also assessed banks and credit unions in the following areas: ‘Trust,’ ‘Terms & Conditions,’ ‘Branch Services,’ ‘Digital Services,’ and ‘Financial Advice.’ Based on the results of the study, Empower Federal Credit Union is ecstatic to be recognized as one of Forbes’ 2020 list of America’s Best-In-State Banks and Credit Unions.
Across all U.S. states only 182 of the 5,236 unique credit unions were awarded this distinction. Empower Federal Credit Union was named amongst the five receiving this recognition in New York State.
