HARRISBURG, PA (September 10, 2020) — evolve FCU is proud to announce its community partnership with El Paso Children’s Hospital your only Children’s Miracle Network Hospital and Children’s Miracle Foundation! This is the beginning of a relationship between two local non-profit organizations that share a passion for contributing to the well-being of El Paso children, their families, and the local community.
evolve FCU is hosting its first Mission for Miracles Digital Fundraiser for the entire month of September and will be accepting online donations until September 30th. This fundraiser is a social-distance friendly event and everybody in the community, from evolve FCU employees and members to the public and businesses, is invited to participate and welcome to donate. Contributions received will not only benefit the community as a whole, but also help in providing aid for those children that are currently faced with unfortunate situations while being hospitalized at El Paso Children’s Hospital. Evolve FCU is also hosting its Social Purpose event, Sending Smiles in September, on the week of Sept. 21 – Sept. 26. The credit union has partnered with local business, Big Frog Custom T-Shirts of El Paso for this event! evolve FCU will be creating Smile packages for all of the kids from the following organizations: Center Against Sexual and Family Violence, Child Crisis Center, Make-A-Wish, Big Brothers Big Sisters of El Paso, and Lee & Beulah Children’s Home. Big Frog will be creating custom t-shirts to incorporate into the Smile packages and Finley, Big Frog’s mascot, along with business owner, Angie Rodriguez, will be participating in distributing the Smile packages and creating a fun and entertaining visit! evolve FCU’s ultimate goal for this campaign is “to bring a smile to these kid’s faces and send them a reminder that they are special, and life is full of opportunity!”
