Fifth annual Drive, Drop & Donate shred & electronic recycle event to benefit DuPage County students in need

NAPERVILLE, IL (May 30, 2018) — Recycle electronics and shred documents during DuPage Credit Union’s Fifth Annual Drive, Drop & Donate event to benefit DuPage County students in need Friday, June 22nd at its Naperville Operations Center, 1515 Bond Street.

Electronic Recycling and Document Shredding provided by Citadel:

  • Electronic Recycling – 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Shred Day – 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The cost to shred or recycle is $10 per service, with 100% of the proceeds benefitting the Credit Union’s We’ve Got Your Back backpack fundraiser to help local students in need.

“Our Drive, Drop & Donate event is a great opportunity to help students in need and get rid of documents and electronics that need to be disposed of securely,” said Amy Brandt, Vice President of Business Solutions. “Last year’s event raised over $3,500, which was used to buy school supply kits for DuPage County students in need.”

Backpacks, stuffed with essential school supplies, will be handed out to students attending the Catholic Charities Annual Back-to-School Fair in August, which benefits DuPage County students in need through the DuPage Regional Office of Education.

Thank you to our generous sponsors, The Rusin-Fulco Realty Group whose support makes this even possible.
