Financial Center First CU speaks at World Council of Credit Unions Conference
INDIANAPOLIS, IN (September 3, 2019) — Financial Center’s Director of Community Relations, Marco Dominguez, and President and CEO, J. Kevin Ryan, presented at the World Credit Union Conference in the Bahamas in July. Their presentation titled “Best Practices for Creating and Sustaining a Financial Literacy Program,” shared the strategy behind the $560 million Indianapolis-based credit union’s five-time, national award winning financial literacy program.
The World Credit Union Conference hosted more than 2,100 credit union professionals from around the world for four days, featuring 29 presentations on various topics.
The World Council of Credit Unions is the global association of credit unions and other cooperative financial institutions. It has members in almost 60 countries, focusing on advocacy, education, networking, and promotion of credit unions.
