When the credit union marketing agency started offering financial coaching as an employee benefit in January 2021, everyone on the team was feeling some pretty significant stress. However, after 15 months, no one reported “overwhelming stress” any longer and some even bumped up to reporting “no stress”.

The team members who would be able to pay for a $1,000 emergency with cash jumped from 33% to 83%, and all of those who had considered themselves “scared” or “confused” about their finances, which was nearly half, were no longer. Additionally, now 17% are budgeting consistently versus none before the program.
