First Capital Federal Credit Union invited approximately 75 students from West York Area High School to tour its West York Branch. Students learned about the different careers in the financial industry and the differences between credit unions and banks.
“We love bringing the students in to tour our branch,” said Lisa Barshinger, Community Engagement Officer. “This is a great chance for them to get a behind the scenes look at different career opportunities, some they may have never known existed or even thought about.”
“As always, everyone is so very generous with their time in helping our students.” Said Cathy Strathmeyer, Business Education Teacher at West York Area High School.

Michele Wherley, Human Resources/Training Manager talks to students about different careers in the credit union.
