Christmas is a time of giving and sharing, and members and employees of First Capital Federal Credit Union have certainly gotten into the spirit. Dozens of toys came in to each First Capital branch to be donated to Toys for Tots, a program created by the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve to help needy children. Hats and mittens are also filling up the hat and mitten tree. The cold weather gear will be donated to several local charities in January to help children in need. In addition, pet supplies were gathered at our holiday party in December, to be donated to the York County SPCA. We dropped those off on Friday, December 21, 2018.
“Even though it’s a busy time of year, First Capital employees and members continue to display the holiday spirit by opening their hearts and wallets to help others out,” said Tara Houser, VP of Marketing. “That’s what the credit union philosophy of People Helping People is all about!”

We are still collecting donations on our hat and mitten tree at First Capital’s West York Office.
