First City Credit Union donates $16,000 to local hospitals

LOS ANGELES , CA (October 3, 2018) — First City Credit Union, through its Helping Hand promotion, raised and donated more than $16,000 to various area hospitals.

The Los Angeles, CA-based credit union donated $10,000 to Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, $2,500 to Los Angeles County (LAC) +USC Medical Center Pediatrics in Los Angeles, $1,000 to Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, and $2,500 to Huntington Hospital in Pasadena.

During the fundraising effort, First City gave members opening a new checking account, $25 while also donating $25 on our member’s behalf. The choice of hospitals receiving each donation was selected by the member. These beneficiary hospitals are within our First City’s sponsor groups.
