First Financial FCU continues to support financial literacy
LUTHERVILLE, MD (May 8, 2018) — Supporting local education is a priority at First Financial Federal Credit Union of Maryland. Each year we join with The Credit Union Foundation of MD|DC in April, to observe Financial Literacy Month. This year’s drive at First Financial FCU produced the most donations to date. This worthy cause funds:

- Financial literacy grants for credit unions to help members with financial education and counseling
- College and trade school scholarships
- Free Quicken personal finance software
- The Millionaire’s Club high school program – FFFCU has 5 Millionaire’s Clubs
- Job training programs
- Support for community financial fitness days
In April of 2018, First Financial FCU collected 403 donations for a total of $1,115.42 for the Foundation’s drive.
