Fort Community Credit Union holds 75th annual meeting

FORT ATKINSON, WI (March 23, 2015) — The members and Board of Directors of Fort Community Credit Union (FCCU) held their 75th annual meeting on Thursday, March 19, 2015.

Incumbent directors Gregory A. Keating and Dianne L. Butt were re-elected to the Board. They join continuing directors Dr. Craig L. Nevermann, Phillip C. Ristow, Collin W. Stevens, Ronald J. Vogel and Ernest T. Witzke.

Board Vice-Chairman Witzke told members that the credit union had again shared profits with members. Special dividends were again distributed to members and the credit union was able to increase reserves to an even higher level showing great strength and stability.

President, Ronald J. Vogel, added that assets are now over $200 million and that membership has exceeded 17,000. He then announced that as FCCU prepares for his retirement, Chief Operations Officer, Susan Johnson, will take over as President. He stated that he will still hold the role of Chief Executive Officer during the transition and that this will be his 41st President’s report to the members and his last, since Susan will be handling the report next year.

Susan is a 20 plus year employee who has had numerous roles within the credit union and has recently graduated from CUNA Management School achieving the designation of Certified Credit Union Executive.
