Free lunchtime shuttles offered during 2019 Pennsylvania Farm Show

HARRISBURG, PA (December 27, 2018)PSECU, Pennsylvania’s largest credit union, and the Farm Show Food Court Commodity Vendors are proud to once again provide complimentary lunchtime transportation to and from the 2019 Pennsylvania Farm Show throughout the Harrisburg area, in collaboration with Capital Area Transit(CAT). Initially designated as a service for state employees, the annual gesture of appreciation has been extended to the greater community since 2016. The 103rdPennsylvania Farm Show is scheduled for January 5-12, 2019. Mark your calendars now to take advantage of this free ride to some of the best food around.

“At PSECU, we strive to keep members’ and potential members’ convenience top of mind – not only in the banking products and services we offer, but also in how we interact with them on a daily basis. Providing this free shuttle service is just another one of the ways we try to make their lives a little easier, less stressful, and hopefully more fun, too,” said PSECU President Greg Smith. “You don’t need to worry about a ticket either – just hop on and ride. Everyone is invited to join us.”

The free lunchtime shuttle features two routes to and from the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center – one from downtown Harrisburg, running Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at approximately seven-minute intervals, and a second from facilities along Elmerton Avenue, running Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at approximately 30-minute intervals. A complete schedule, including stops serviced, is available at psecu.com/farmshow. No bus pass is required.

We invite everyone to take advantage of this opportunity and spend your lunch hour with us at the legendary Farm Show Food Court in 2019.”

In addition to the free shuttle service, PSECU employees will greet riders upon arrival at the Farm Show and distribute reusable tote bags to help carry items purchased while onsite. Each day of the shuttle service, 125 of the bags will be randomly stuffed with a $2 Farm Show Food Court coupon. Additional bags will contain coupons for daily highlighted food items, like the event’s iconic milkshakes and baked potatoes.

PSECU members patronizing the 2019 Pennsylvania Farm Show will also enjoy the added benefit of six onsite, surcharge-free ATMs.
