Freedom Credit Union Donates to Children’s Miracle Network at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia

WARMINSTER, PA (May 16, 2013) Freedom Credit Union staff showed their generosity and caring spirit by contributing an impressive $2,200 to the Children’s Miracle Network at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.  Freedom hosted a “Casino Royale” night for all of their employees and guests this spring.  It was an evening filled with games, raffles, silent auctions, and a 50/50 drawing with all proceeds going to the Children’s Miracle Network at C.H.O.P.

The Children’s Miracle Network is celebrating its 30-year anniversary.  Since 1983, the organization has raised more than $4.7 billion—most of it $1 at a time—for 170 children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada, which, in turn, use the money where it’s needed the most. These donations have gone to support research and training, purchase equipment, and pay for uncompensated care, all in support of the mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
