Freedom Credit Union honors Montgomery Educators at the 9th Annual Voices of Inspiration Event

WARMINSTER, PA (March 2, 2015) — Nominations are now open for the Freedom Credit Union’s 9th Annual Voices of Inspiration Event (www.voicesofinspiration.org ). Freedom and the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit (MCIU) will recognize exemplary educators in Montgomery County at a special reception and ceremony on May 6, 2015.

The Voices of Inspiration Award for Teaching Excellence was established by Freedom Credit Union and the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit to recognize those teachers who exceed expectations in meeting their students’ needs. Open to educators or support staff, nominations are solicited from the community. Winners are selected based on exceptional performance as an educator and extraordinary dedication to the education of children. Twenty-three Finalists — one from each of the twenty-one Montgomery County school districts, one from a nonpublic school in the county, and one from the MCIU— will be honored at the ceremony in May. Each of the 23 Finalists will be recognized and a $500 award will be given to three grand-prize winners.

“Freedom is proud to host this worthwhile event to recognizing leaders and innovators in education.” said Freedom Credit Union President and CEO, John F. King. “At Freedom we have a long history partnering with educational institutions including the Montgomery County school districts.”

“The MCIU is pleased to continue its partnership with Freedom Credit Union to celebrate the dedication of educators in our schools.” said Dr. John J. George, MCIU Executive Director.

Nominations will be accepted online at www.voicesofinspiration.org from March 1 to April 1, 2015.
