Georgia United Credit Union Donates School Supplies To Athens Title 1 Schools Gaines & Alps Road Elementary
DULUTH, GA (AUGUST 12, 2013) — Georgia United Credit Union and Star94 Radio teamed up once again for a school supply drive to meet the growing need of students and teachers in the communities served by Georgia United. Thanks to all the Credit Union members who dropped off 7,301 new school supplies and cash donations at one of Georgia United’s 16 branch locations (listed below). Georgia United and Star94 welcomed Carter’s & Osh Kosh B’Gosh and Spoonful of Hope a 501c3 organization for children (run by Atlanta Falcon Sean Weatherspoon) coordinated delivery of supplies to local Title 1 schools.
